Angular Developer
We are expanding our web development team to help one of our long term partners with their Angular projects long term. This is remote position, part time is also possible.
In this role you will
- Lead the frontend development efforts, taking ownership of Angular projects and driving them from inception to completion
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into highly responsive andvisually appealing web applications using Angular
- Apply best practices for code structure, organization, and maintainability, while adhering to coding standards and established guidelines
- Optimize application performance and user experience through efficient implementation and responsive design techniques
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to maintain codebase integrity, and implement automated testing wherever applicable
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, fostering their growth and development in Angular and frontend technologies
- Collaborate with backend developers to design and implement RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend systems
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Angular and frontend development, proactively suggesting improvements and innovative solutions
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Work closely with product managers to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to the product roadmap
We are looking for
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, ability to collaborate with product managers, designers and architects, discuss strategy and contribute to optimal solutions
- Strong, demonstrated web-based user interface application development experience utilising front end frameworks such as React
- Ability to Implement high-quality and internationalised views across multiple devices using SASS, HTML and Typescript
- Understanding of HTML 5 and other cross-platform JavaScript frameworks
- Deep understanding of HTML semantics, liquid layout design, accessibility compliance, and industry standards for global enterprise web-based applications
- Experience in software design with a strong foundation of design models and database structures
- Strong knowledge of REST concepts, HTTP protocols and Websockets
- Experience in writing product specifications and documentation of product features to present them to a wider audience
