The Opportunity:
Lead JS Developer
We are currently finishing problem-product fit research for
new product in energy industry and seeking for lead JS developer
to join us fully remote and take charge of frontend technology stack.
Come join our product development team in a hands-on technical role where you’ll be involved in the complete product lifecycle, help make organisational decisions on technologies and methodologies, and help building a team of like minded engineers.
This role provides the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of our business, and work closely with key stakeholders and product management to develop feature rich product.
In this role you will
- Design, develop, deploy and support world-class, enterprise-level product
- Participate in architectural and product design
- Evaluate new design specifications and raise quality standards, address architectural concerns
- Evaluate stability, compatibility, scalability, interoperability, and performance of the software product
- Plan and estimate implementation tasks and report progress
- Expand on the engineering team's culture of high code quality
- Integrate the application front ends with the application business layer
- Help build out a front end team and manage the skills sets associated
- Set forth the best practices and standards for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
- Keep up with industry and web technology best practices while keeping product on the right path
- Desirable: demonstrate technical expertise through publication, presentations, white papers and event participation
We are looking for
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with product managers, designers and architects, discuss strategy and contribute to optimal solutions.
- Strong, demonstrated web-based user interface application development experience utilising front end frameworks such as React
- Ability to Implement high-quality and internationalized views across multiple devices using SASS, HTML and Typescript
- Deep understanding of HTML semantics, liquid layout design, accessibility compliance, and industry standards for global enterprise web-based applications
- Experience in software design with a strong foundation of design models and database structures
- Strong knowledge of REST concepts, HTTP protocols and Websockets
- Expertise in building complex SPAs (single page applications) and routing
- Experience in writing product specifications and documentation of product features to present them to a wider audience
- Experience working with Webpack and other modern tools to create effective CI/CD delivery pipelines.
We also would love you to bring any of those
- Experience building modern micro frontends based SPA
- Alternatively, experience leveraging best practices of atomic design approach
- Any experience with energy industry or with data intensive applications
